Premium Protection. Crystal-Clear Presentation.

Card Shellz magnetic holders combine protection and presentation in one piece. The crystal-clear, acid-free acrylic and 100% UV-shield barrier keep your cards safe from fading, scratching, and corner damage, while the glass-clear finish shows off every detail exactly as it should be seen. Rare-earth magnets lock the case tight, creating a crisp, museum-style display that makes your cards look their best on a shelf, in a showcase, or in your personal collection.

Our standard card size magnetic holders range from 35pt to 360pt, covering everything from base cards to thick patches and relics. For those special booklets pulls, we also offer magnetic booklet holders in vertical and horizontal formats for oversized multi-panel booklet cards outside standard 3x4 dimensions.

For 35pt and 55pt cards, our magnetic holders include an exclusive Precise-Fit sleeve you won’t find anywhere else. The sleeve adds a clean, scratch-blocking layer for chrome finishes and autographs while still protecting corners and allowing the case to close perfectly flush. It’s the best of both worlds: soft-sleeve surface protection with the rigidity and clarity of a one-touch magnetic.

To keep your magnetic holders in showroom condition, pair it with our Glove-Fit Sleeves. They’re the best-fitting protective sleeves on the market, engineered for a perfectly snug, glass-clear wrap that shields your holder from scratches, scuffs, handling wear, and dust without adding bulk or muting clarity. You won’t find a cleaner or better-fitting sleeve for your one-touch cases anywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes are available?

We carry magnetic holders for standard 3x4\" cards of varying thickness from 35PT to 360PT so you can store most any trading card in one of our crystal clear holders. For those special booklet pulls, we also offer vertical and horizontal magnetic booklet holders.

Are these holders archival safe?

Yes. Our holders are made of crystal clear acid-FREE non-PVC plastic with UV protection so your cards are safe for long-term storage.

Will the card move around inside the case?

No. Our standard Card Shellz magnetic holders are precisely engineered for true 3x4 card dimensions, so the card sits cleanly and securely without shifting or rubbing against the acrylic. This prevents surface wear, corner impact, and micro-movement that can scratch chrome finishes over time. Our booklet magnetic holders also offer a noticeably tighter fit than typical Ultra Pro booklet holders. Booklet cards can vary slightly by manufacturer, but our tighter tolerances minimize wiggle and keep multi-panel and autograph booklets better centered and more secure than standard alternatives.

Should I penny-sleeve or perfect fit before inserting into the magnetic holder?

For chrome cards and on-card autographs, yes—using a sleeve is highly recommended. These cards can bow slightly, and if the surface presses against the acrylic for long periods, it can lead to micro-scratches or imprinting on the autograph. A Precise-Fit or penny sleeve creates a barrier that protects the surface and the ink. For thicker, board-style cards that stay flat and don’t bow, sleeving is less critical. These cards typically don’t make constant contact with the holder’s acrylic, so the risk of surface wear is much lower.

Are magnetic holders worth it vs. top-loaders or semi-rigid sleeves?

They’re worth it for certain cards and certain collectors. Magnetic holders give you a rigid acrylic case, a flush magnetic closure, and a much cleaner presentation than a top-loader or semi-rigid. They’re often used for cards someone wants to set apart—autographs, patches, low-numbered parallels, or anything that feels special enough to deserve a display-grade case. They’re not designed for bulk storage. Magnetic holders are thicker and take up more room, so top-loaders and semi-rigids remain the practical choice for storing large collections or grading prep. Most collectors end up using both: top-loaders for everyday cards, and magnetic holders when they want a card to look its best or sit securely in a more substantial enclosure.
